Will's take: Round is the classic for a reason — maximum brilliance, always timeless. But oval, radiant and emerald cut are having a serious moment right now. If your partner has long fingers, an elongated cut such as radiant, emerald, marquise or oval will make their fingers look even more elegant.

Pro tip: Always prioritize Cut — a well-cut stone looks bigger and brighter than a larger, poorly-cut one. For Lab Diamonds, DEF Color with VVS2/VS1 clarity is the sweet spot for maximum value and visual appeal. You may have noticed that other jewelers & online retailers sometimes charge a huge premium for D color VVS2 Diamonds compared to F color VS1's, we don't :)
For Earth Mined Diamonds, VS1/VS2 for clarity and G-H for color is the sweet spot.

White metals (white gold and platinum) are most popular right now, yellow has been timeless and rose gold is making a comeback. No wrong choice here, totally up to you and your partner's preference.
Lab-grown vs Natural: A lab-grown diamond is not a fake diamond — it IS a diamond. The only difference is origin. If budget is a priority, lab-grown gives you a significantly larger, higher-quality stone for the same price. Will is happy to walk you through both options anytime!
